Sunday Routine: Make-up Brushes

On Sundays is a day I do cleaning, one of my must thing to do is clean my make up brushes, its a chore for me to do and it can be tiring cleaning each individual brushes. I was never one for cleaning my brushes weekly I would pretty much wash them once in 5 Months, I was never bothered and I didn't have expensive makeup brushes to even care about to clean, until I earned money for myself to go and buy expensive ones.

Makeup Brushes Before being Washed
I use Johnson's baby shampoo to clean my brushes, I don't like the idea of spending so much on makeup removers to clean my brushes with, specially since I'm a student I don't have money for it, so I opted for the cheapest option that actually does the same work as any other expensive makeup remover brands.
The reason I use baby shampoo is because it doesn't contain any harsh chemicals that will ruin/break brushes hair. it leaves brushes clean and soft.

I wet the brushes first facing downwards, I add a drop of shampoo on the palm of my hand and do circular motions with the brush, and I rinse until water and brush come out clear. I normally only have to do it once if brushes aren't as dirty but if they are I will do another drop of shampoo and repeat the same routine, until clean.

A before and after shot of my brushes after being clean. Brush: Real Techniques Buffing Brush

I leave the brushes laying on a hand towel over night to let them hair dry.
If like me your a student or hardly have any more to buy expensive make-up removers then opt for the baby shampoo (here).

Selling Stuff on Depop

I've been meaning to sell my clothes and shoes that I don't wear and also clothes I never actually worn and are still in my closet, a friend of mine told me about Depop and said its an easy way of selling you unwanted items, and of course I had to give this a go.

I pretty much sorted my wardrobe out into sections of things I never wear to items I want to keep, and to be fairly honest I have a lot of clothes I never wear its ridiculous, but I'm also going shopping at the end of next month so I need space in the wardrobe for it.

At the moment I only have 3 items up on http://depop.com/en/adrianareis so check it out, you do need to download the app to actually buy anything, and you need a Paypal account, which makes all payments easy.
I will be uploading more items on the app to sell, so make sure to check it out.

NOTD: Red Black

Nails: Barry M, Red Black, Rings Topshop and River Island

Each week I tend to change my  nails colour a lot, I tend to get quiet bored of having the same colour so I always have to change it. Ive been wearing bright nails this past couple of weeks since the weather has been good, but recently the weather has been a bit chilly so I opted for a dark nail look.

I'm wearing Barry M in the shade Red Black which has been my favourite shade, I think I might have to get myself an extra one as the current one is running low. Next week I think I will be going for a brighter look, changing it up a little

Blogs One Today

Cant believe my blog turned one today, its crazy to know that I've been blogging for over a year, this 12 months have gone past so fast, it still feels like only yesterday I was plucking up the courage to write my very first post.

Since starting my blog I've learned a lot, specially with writing I know it sounds stupid but its true if you go back and see my first few post you'd see my english and writing was bad (or badish), but since then I learned how to write properly and my spelling has improved A LOT (well I think that is).
I also learned it takes time to plan a post which I never took this in mind, but I'm learning that I need to plan my blog around my personal life.
This blog is my own little space, where I can get away from things and just write about anything and I enjoy it.

Would like to say thank you for everyone who stubbled across my blog in this huge blogging world, and for the lovely followers, I appreciate it.
So heres to more years of blogging to come and for also need surprise I will be doing in the summer so follow so you won't miss out on what I have planned.

Thanks x

8 Things I Realised Upon Moving Out From Home

Since moving out from my parents I have learned and realise things that I never knew matter or I had to even worry about. Since I'm a student and many of you are I thought I'd do a post about it.

1. Paying Rent, once your money goes on rent you are pretty much broke and you can't do all the things you are used to doing with your money when you lived at home, I had to learn this very quickly.

2. Doing your own laundry, this is the longest thing it takes for ever waiting for it to finish so you can put things away. I give my mum a lot of credit for doing this at home.

3. Food Shopping, I never realise how expensive grocery shopping was until I moved out, its crazy.

4. I own a lot of stuff, I didn't realise how much crap I owned until I was packing my stuff, stuff that I didn't even know I had, even stuff that I forgot I owned.

5. Being mature is a massive thing I have learned and realise. I learned that I need to do things for myself, and planning and budgeting stuff and having responsibility that you never thought you'd had to.

6. The independence is great, you can do what you want in your own place, you don't have you parents telling you what to do every minute.

7. Cooking for yourself, I always cooked when I was at home so this isn't such like a massive thing but I always cook as I'm cooking for 4 people, I always tend to make so much and then I realise that I'm the only one eating.

8. Having phone calls with mum always make everything better, I can always count of her when I need support or cheering up she's always the one I go to. And dad for the financial side of things when I need advice on that.

So thats my 8 things of realisation of moving out, I do enjoy having my own place (even if it means being with other people) but I also do miss being at home and around family, but thats all about growing up, right?

OOTD & Charity Findings

I went to a charity shop to buy a tailored jacket for my course and I stumbled upon this gorgeous grey jacket and I knew I had to get it, specially since it was only £3.99 which is a barging, it's a size 14 a bit big but its still wearable, I didn't have a label so I don't actually know where its from.

Since I had uni today, I did get the chance to wear it plus the weather wasn't too cold and I wanted a change from always weathering the Parka Coat (here).

A closer look at the jacket, I think I will wear this a lot more but mainly when the weather isn't so cold or rainy, otherwise
