Crazy Weekend

This weekend has been about birthdays and family. I also having an insight on what it would be like to have kids too.
So on Saturday was a friends 20th birthday, before going out to celebrate his birthday, I had an insight on what it would be like having kids, had my gorgeous cousin and niece over, trying to get ready with two young girls is the hardest thing ever, specially when they ask you so many question and having to keep an eye on the youngest one too, doing my make up usually takes about 15 minutes but with them took me an extra 15 minutes to finish putting my make up, kids are hard work.
After getting ready I met the girls for Hannan's birthday meal, we went to an Indian restaurant which was really nice the food was amazing and it felt very posh in there (in a good way). We all in the end went out to carry on the celebrations, which was great fun specially since I hadn't seen some of the people for a long time so it was great to have that catch up that we all needed.

Sunday was family BBQ day, The weather was amazing. Its nice when family gets together and its great just to have that catch up and have so many laughs.
My uncle got back from Madeira that afternoon and the whole family decided to go for a nice walk down the river to feed the ducks.

Hope you all had a great weekend :)

The 30 Day Snap Challenge

I'll be doing the 30 day snap challenge the Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter has set

This 30 day snap challenge is for the month of June, to take a photo everyday of something representing that specific day. I will snap a photograph of my day and upload it on here and on my Instagram. I will also be uploading all my regular beauty and fashion post so you'll get twice as much to read.Hopefully for the month of June there will be lots of photos going around all the blogs.

The rules for this challenge are simple, just upload a photograph every day, It doesn't have to be anything magnificent, just a simple picture of your day! You don't have to write about it unless you'd like to, is up to you how you'd like to do this Snap Challenge.

I think this challenge is great to capture a whole month of your life by simply taking a picture. It'll be great fun looking back, and what stood out from specific days, specially since I have a lot going on in the month of June so this challenge couldn't come at a better time.

It would be great fun if people join in on this challenge. Not only funny to look at your own life in pictures but seeing what others do for a month, specially if they from a different countries, which will be interesting, Cant Wait :)

If you have any questions or want to read more about this challenge just click here and this will take to Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter's blog.

Barry M Haul

A few weeks ago I went out into town for some shopping, I decided to get some Barry M stuff since I have an addiction with Barry M nail polish and I thought I'd go and add to my collection. (As you can notice on some of the pictures theres a lot of Barry M nail Varnish)

I saw that Barry M have a new collection out in Hi-Shine.
I decided to get one just to see what it would look like, but I couldn't
decided between two colours, so I ended up buying both. and also
I wanted to add onto my Barry M collection. (I'm terrible)

Barry M, Hi-Shine In the shade Papaya.
Highly pigmented, it gives a glossy, gel-like finish

I only had to use two coats, which is really good, I fell in love with the
peachy-orangy colour. I was quite shocked that it dried quite fast
which is very handy when your in a rush.

Barry M, Hi-Shine in the shade Greenberry
Highly pigmented, gives a glossy, gel-like finish.

I really liked the turquoise colour of this nail varnish, It's very bright good for
Spring and Summer. I also liked that it dried fast, which was helpful.

I also went out and bought Barry M's lipstick, that i've wanted to
for a while now.

I really liked how light it felt on the lips, its also a matte lipstick.
A plumy colour, it's similar to the Mac's Rebel Lipstick. I
was disappointed that it wasn't as dark as its looks on the lipstick.

I'd wear it with a simple eye make up for a day look.

I really liked the coral/pinky colour. The colour is very similar to
Revlon, Mango Tango Lipstick, if I'm honest i prefer the Barry M
one instead of the Revlon, mainly because Barry M's more matte
which the Revlon one has a more glossy look to it, which i Really didn't like.

I'll be wearing this lipstick a lot during spring and summer,
you could either wear it with a simple eye make up,
or a smokey eye look.

I know i'll be buying more of Barry M collections, specially a few more lipsticks.
I hope you guys enjoyed the post.

Sometimes

'Sometimes it's easy to feel like you're the only one in the world who's struggling, who's frustrated, unsatisfied, or barely getting by. But that feeling's a lie. And if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone, or something, will find you and make it all okay. We all need a little help sometimes. Someone to help us hear the music in our world. To remind us that it won't always be this way. That someone is out there, and that someone will find you.'

Adventures in Oxford

Since it was a nice sunny day, I decided to go and meet some friends in town for a nice catch up and do some exploring in Oxford. After a nice meal we decided to go for a walk around town when Hannan and Nicola found this huge park, it was really nice and quiet, a place where people would go for walks/jogs. Its peaceful which was really nice.
But thanks to both Hannan and Nicola we all some how got lost and couldn't find the exit to get back into town so we could go home, even though we got lost we still managed to find awesome buildings and rivers.

Over an hour of being lost, we asked some strangers for directions, we had the choice to either go the long way to the exit or a short cut, you could guess what we decided.
I regret so much going through the short cut, because you had to some how walk through this small muddy river bit, and of course while everyone is crossing I some how fall through the mud luckily it was only my foot the got muddy. I still have no damn idea how it happen, but it did. I don't think i'll put the step by step pictures of it happening (yes theres pictures to proof it!) since I feel like this blog is long enough already. I some how laughed all the way through it, and even now I still laugh about it.

Even though I had a muddy foot, I still had a great day and had so much laughs.
From now on if I'm meeting both Hannan and Nicola I decided that I have to bring spare shoes and wear shorts or leggings and prepare myself for long walks and getting lost with them.

I hope you guys enjoyed the post, sorry for it being long.
