Another Beauty Haul

Yup you've guessed it another beauty haul on my blog but this time I did new some of the things in this haul.

Yesterday I went into Boots and Superdrug to find a new foundation and concealer, I will admit that I went into Superdrug to see if I could find some new lipstick for the fall, I came across the buy one get the other half price on Kate Moss lipsticks got two lipsticks for only £8.23 got £2.75 off (bargain).

Boot's are doing a buy two for £10 which was perfect bargain as I needed both concealer and foundation, I saved £4.48 from the offer.

Kate Moss lipstick 30 its a purple tone lipstick, easy and light to apply.
Kate Moss lipstick 31 it's a pinky tone lipstick, also easy and light to apply.
Rimmel, Wake Me Up foundation in Soft beige I've had this foundation before, I tend to use different foundation in the Summer and in the Winter, I needed a lighter foundation now the cold weather is coming and I'm losing my tan.
Rimmel, Wake Me Up concealer in Classic Beige I've been in need of a new concealer since my no.17 concealer ran out, I bought this concealer before but I accidentally picked the lightest shade which I then had to give to mum other wise it would of gone to waist, used it today for the first time and has covered spots and under eyes circles, I recommend this concealer.

I've also purchased the Vogue October Issue recently.

Out of my Comfort-Zone | Haul

I thought I'd try something new and leave the comfort-zone when it comes to lipsticks, if your a regular reader you'd know I have mainly Reds and Purples tone lipsticks which has been the same shades for years but I thought it was time to go for pinks, while looking through boots I came across Kate Moss lipsticks and saw that they had 1 shade of lipstick left (It was fate for me to buy it).

Something that I've learned about experimenting and stepping out of my comfort zone is for example wearing lipstick that I never wear around the house to get used to wearing something different, which I tend to do a lot, specially when it comes to makeup just so I can get comfortable wearing it before wearing it in public, and it works.

Kate Moss in No.20

It's a bright pink but on camera it comes out even brighter than what it actually is,  It soft on the lips, so far I've been enjoying this shade.
I will be investing in more pink lipstick in the future and more colours.

Barcelona. Catalan, Spain

On the 6th of February 2012 I went to Barcelona for a college trip, we landed in Barcelona early morning, so we had time to drop everything off at the hostel and go explore the place.

On our way to the hostel, such an amazing place Barcelona is beautiful.

Sagrada Familia, which is a large Roman Catholic Church, designed by Antoni Gaudí, its a pretty huge building and one of my favourite place that I have been.

Day two:

Plaza De España

Day Three:

We visited Park Güell, This park is beautiful, its huge and you get a perfect view of the city.

The view from the parks balcony, you can see the sea in the distance.

Gaudí's House.

It was pretty cool to walk under this

It's such a peaceful place to go and see.

After walking around the park, we sat down for some drinks, and ended up feeling the pigeons and parrots.

After the park we headed to the Mercat de Sat Josep/ La Boqueria, Barcelona's best-known market. The food sold ranges from ready made fresh fruit salads to literally fresh out of the sea crabs and lobsters, and not to mention the sweet counters.

After the Market we headed to Gothic Quarter, Barcelona, The Gothic Quarter is the centre of the old city of Barcelona, such a beauty place.

The Gothic Quarter.
 Day Four:
Since it was our final day in Barcelona a couple of us didn't feel like going with our tutors and others to another art museum, we wanted to go some where different and explore a little more for our self, we ended up deciding to go to Museu de la Xocolate (Chocolate museum), trying to find this museum was the hardest thing we ended up getting lost and me asking a complete stranger where it was, good thing the group had me (the spanish one) to ask for directions to get there. We saw Arc de Triomf (sadly I don't have the picture on my mac) on our way to the museum.

When we got lost

Tom & Jerry made out of chocolate.

It crazy how this is made out of chocolate.

We left Barcelona on Friday Morning.
Barcelona was an amazing place to go and visit, it was a shame I didn't go for a long time but I will for sure go and visit again and this time stay for longer and visit even more places.

Thanks for reading.

What's in my Everyday makeup bag?

I thought it was time to do a what’s in my makeup bag post, giving you an inside of what’s in my makeup bag, I don’t really like having so many things in my everyday makeup, but I tend to go over board with my travel makeup bag which I will do a post about that too, that’s when I over pack, (you never know what you’ll need). You will also see how many real techniques brushes, I'm a big fan of the Real Techniques brushes they are great.

Makeup:
Foundation: Yves Saint Laurent, Le Teint Touche Eclat in BD 50
Powder Foundation: Rimmel London, Stay Matte in Transparent
Concealer: Benefit, Boi-Ing in 02
Sleek Blush in Life’s a Peach
Sleek Contouring and Blush Palette in Medium
Maybelline Gel Eyeliner in Black
Mascara: Rimmel London in Black
Sleek eyebrow pen in Dark

Brushes:
Real Techniques – Stippling brush
Real Techniques – Contour Brush
Real Techniques – Powder Brush

If I had to choice what was my favourite item in my makeup bag at the moment I would have to say its the new Rimmel London mascara, it doesn't give you any lumps, makes my eyelashes look longer and it feels light on the eyes.

Whats your favourite thing in your makeup bag right now?

I still can't believe my little brother has turned 17, where does the time go? its crazy.

The cake was made by my uncles girlfriend who did a great job with the cake, it was lovely.
