2014 Highlights

If it like it was only yesterday I was writing 2013 Highlight, can't believe 2014 is coming to an end, its crazy to think that I've been blogging for a year an half now and I'm enjoying it more and more every day. A lot has happened on this blog and in life, found the perfect name that suits this little blog of mine also changed the layout of the blog which hope you all like as much as I do.

As to my life outside the blogging world a lot has happened this year, I decided to officially quit University for good and telling everyone about it which was one of the hardest thing I would have to tell them. I moved to a different city with the parents which was a massive change for us, since we lived in Oxford for the last 11 years so moving to a new place was is hard but were managing. I turned 21 no longer a teenager now an adult (scary thing to actually say), although I turned 21 on tough but special day, putting my grandmother to rest peacefully and also brought the family closer together. Met a guy who not only is my boyfriend but a best friend, has got me through a lot of things, which I'm grateful to have met.

I learned a lot this year, from people who have walked in and out of my life and have taught me lesson in life, about myself and that good things will come when its the right time. It's been a crazy year and I'm excited for what 2015 has to offer.

If you want to check 2013 Highlights you can. Thanks for follow and reading I appreciate.

Hate a great New Years lovelies.

Christmas at the Reis house.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas this year.

Christmas was at my parents house this year which meant that we had the family over from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day, there was 10 of us plus a dog in the house so you can imagine how crazy things got, we had people sleeping every where in the house, in both rooms, living room and even the kitchen.

We spent Christmas Eve talking and watching random things on tv, our tradition of opening presents are if theres kids in the house we will open all the presents on Christmas morning but if there isn't any kids we will open all presents come midnight, which we ended up doing this year as we didn't have any kids around.

I didn't really ask for anything this year, so I was surprised at the things I got and I'm grateful for which was fun all though I'm the type of person who has to know what I get I like surprises but I don't, does that make sense?

It was fun waking up with everyone under one roof, we ate breakfast and talked some more as you do when family's over.

Once everyone finished eating myself and mum starting on preparing Christmas Dinner which we had Lasagna, I don't think we've ever had a proper Christmas dinner because theres always a few people who don't like a surtended something we just make something that everyone likes.

After Christmas lunch/dinner some of the family stayed in the living room watching movies and the other in the kitchen playing cards (Casino), its kinda of a Portuguese tradition that theres a lot of playing cards involved, I think we played over 20 rounds of cards and I would say my time one around 6 times maybe?.

The rest of Christmas day was spent chilling in front of the TV watching movies and relaxing.

How did you spend your Christmas Eve/Day?

Favourite Christmas nails

One of the things I do to get into the Christmasy spirit is having my nails done, I tend to feel lost without having my nails done, I've picked a lot of red tones for Christmas, I like to have a bit of glitter and sparkle on my nails too, it goes with the Christmas spirit.

Of course I had to include a matte nail paint since I'm obsessed with matte nails, the nail paints I've choice are Barry M Matte nail paint in Crush, and Barry M Christmas limited edition in Moonlight and Dote nail paint don't know the name of it its a deep red.

I will do a post with my Christmas nails and outfit of the day, so keep a look out for it.

What is your favourite Christmas nails?

Currently I am Loving

Watching Christmas films, I love getting into the Christmas spirit with films.
Listening to Sam Smith album, my favourite song in it is Like I Can, can't seem to get enough of his album.
Wanting to be Christmas already, excited to have to family over, and to also going on Holiday for new years.
Trying to relax in this crazy season and not panic too much on presents for people.
Obsessed with having long nails, I don't like having short nails never did, I feel naked without my nails
Waiting for deliveries to come through the post any day now.
Wondering what New Years and holiday would be like with all the family together in one place.
Appreciating that I have family and boyfriend are around.
Wearing warm knitted jumpers, I can finally start wearing them again.

Thats what I've been loving as a whole at the moment, what have you been currently loving?

Beauty tag

Source
Theres nothing wrong with doing another tag right? As you may already know if you follow me I like tags not ashamed to admit that, I saw this tag and I thought I'd do it and share with you all lovelies my answers. I'm tagging everyone to do this tag.

1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do?
I would say my eyebrows, everytime I do my makeup I see that my eyebrows need done and I'll say to myself to do them later but always manage to forget which I know is bad, I've also been too lazy to take my makeup off before bed which I know is the worst thing you can do but I'm trying to get back into the routine.

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?
I do try and actually clean them regularly, but lately I haven't been so good at it, I do them every month but I need to start doing them weekly specially when I've been breaking out lately.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
If I got asked this question a couple years ago I would say I'll let them be chipped for a while but now I can't stand having chipped nails, I tend to remove nail polish before it starts to chip, I don't like wearing the same nail colours so often on my nails I tend to change it each week.

4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?
If its beauty related I buy it when I have money and see something I like, as you can see with the haul posts I do, if its essential such as shampoo, deodorant I will purchase before it runs out.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
Embarrassed to admit this but it'd be squeezing spots on my face or black heads, I can't help but get rid of it, I know its bad for my skin and can cause scarring and I am trying to stop my self at times but it can be hard when its a bad habit.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
It would be washing my clothes, when I say that I mean I don't mean I don't wash my clothes I do at the end of the week, I just use different clothes in my wardrobe as I'm trying not wear the same clothes so often.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?
I start getting ready a couple hours before if I'm going on nights out or somewhere special, but if just for a trip to the shops or work I tend to leave it to the last minute which makes me late for everything.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
Truthfully? No, I can't stick to a spending ban but I can manage my spending I guess?

9. How organised is your make-up and nail polish collections?
I will say I'm very organised when it comes to my makeup and nail polishes, everything has there own draws and space, I keep everything thats to do with nails in one draws separate from other things,  I have my makeup stored in clear acrylic drawers I've bought from Raymons, where I can see whats what in different drawers. I think other than anything else being organised anything to do with beauty I'm very organised.

I think this post has summed up how lazy I can be (covering face), I hope you liked this little tag as much as I did. If you know any other tags leave a comment down bellow.

Envy Clutch | Haul

I'm so happy that I got this in the mail on Monday, a friend who I've know since college has started building her own brand of clutch bags, since seeing pictures of her handmade bags on Instagram I just had to get my hands on one of them.

She does them in 2 size small and big, I got the big size which fit Macbook airs and pros, I don't have a bag for my laptop (well I did but managed to lose it in the move). Since my Mac is small I can fit it in with the charger which is perfect.

I recommend checking Envy Clutches out if you're interested in one, the prices for the Small are £15 and for the big ones are £20, I think its affordable and stylish, I also recommend check her personal blog Lucy Ballard if you'd like to find out more about her and her Envy Clutch brand.
